This year’s theme for the Republicans is apparently “Country First,” which I have some issues with. Firstly, it’s fascism, people. Government first? Really? You know, the government works for you, not the other way around. That’s the whole idea of us being the land of the free. We are not subjects of the proverbial crown, we are free men and women who elect a government to serve us. The fact that people don’t realize this and so wholeheartedly swallow the Republican tripe is indicative of the dearth of education in this country.
