I want Follow for every site with a feed.
I wish there was a like button for the entire web, not just Tumblr and Facebook.
I don’t know what the usage numbers are for Tumblr’s like feature, but I know I’ve been using it a lot more lately — ditto for Facebook. You could easily port this as a browser plugin (UI ghostery, design Tumblr) in a way that users would like and avoid having to get sites to install you off the bat.
Build a UI for interacting with past likes and some metadata. Build some pipes back into the services you use to save things (so that likes get saved to delicious + w/e else), and 1 button publish to tumblr/fb/twitter/etc.
Why does this feel like a betaworks stumbleupon competitor waiting to happen or something Tumblr should do?
likeproject.com is available, who’s going after it.
